The aim of the document is to review the previous HPS PVC maintenance quality improvement tool content, alongside the current available guidelines and evidence to ensure that the key recommendations are still the most important for optimal maintenance of PVCs in patients who require these. The PVC care bundle and associated tools were first published on the HPS website in May 2008.”
